After Kinda Sorta Country, she moves toward Coastal American Mutt, a five-song EP that reflects the full spectrum of who she is: glitter and grit, bite and tenderness, humor and heart, city to coastal upbringing and country aspiration.

A classically trained three-octave mezzo-soprano and multi-instrumentalist, Naomi crafts cross-genre pop like cinema. Her songs are intimate in detail but widescreen in impact, built from emotional specificity, hook-forward melodies, and a strong sense of character. Frequently self-directing or shaping her visuals, she creates interconnected chapters rather than standalone singles, building a catalog that feels less like a playlist and more like an evolving cinematic universe.

Born in Manhattan and raised between New York City and Southern California, Naomi now calls Santa Barbara, CA home, proudly referring to herself as a “bi-coastal American mutt.” New York gave her grit, discipline, and tenacity; California gave her openness, ease, and creative freedom. Between steel and sunshine, she found both her resilience and her voice.

Music was never a phase for Naomi - it was identity. “I was born knowing music was who I was,” she says. “I came out of the womb singing to anyone who would listen - New York City sidewalks were my first stage, stroller my first mic stand.” Classical vocal training developed her range early, while guitar, piano, violin, saxophone, and ukulele expanded her musical vocabulary.

Her foundation in storytelling was forged on stage and screen. She performed in productions including Newsies, Legally Blonde, Frozen, Singin’ in the Rain, and Assassins, notably going viral for her gender-bent portrayal of Jack Kelly. Her songwriting breakthrough came with “Little Miss,” which won 1st Place in the Teen category of the 2023 International Songwriting Competition. Produced and mixed by ASCAP award-winning songwriter-producer Adam Zelkind, the album surrounds Naomi with collaborators whose résumés bridge legacy and modernity: pedal steel legend Greg Leisz, fiddle and mandolin player Jimmy Mattingly, multi-platinum Nashville songwriter Joey Hyde, Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket, and acclaimed songwriter Greg Holden, whose work includes “Home,” made famous by Phillip Phillips, and “Boys in the Street.” The project balances modern precision with organic instrumentation, bringing country textures and roots credibility into Naomi’s cinematic pop architecture.

The lead single, “Pumpkin Eater,” released February 27, 2026, opened the era with satire, freedom, and country-pop bite. A clap-along kiss-off that flips a nursery rhyme into a Gen Z chant - “Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater” - the track established the album’s sharp humor and boldness. “I love this song because it is 100 percent me,” Naomi says. “I like to confront hard times and people who hurt me with wit and satire in song. The second chapter, “Clementines,” revealed the softer side of the album: a folk-leaning indie-country / roots-kissed alt-pop love song about devotion over drama and love in the little things. From there, “Farren Rd.” expands the album into youth, place, first love, memory, and coming-of-age nostalgia, while “Measure Forever” moves closest toward modern country romance. The full LP arrives with “Passenger Princess” on October 9, 2026, bringing the album home with an upbeat indie / country / pop road-trip anthem.

Honesty remains Naomi’s compass. “Writing is one place I don’t lie,” she says. “If I polish over the truth too much, it starts to feel fake.” Influenced by the candor of Joni Mitchell and the specificity of Zach Bryan, she structures her catalog like chapters in one evolving story. “All of my albums are really just one long story,” Naomi shares. “I’m not reinventing myself every chapter; I’m just evolving, learning, messing up, healing, and telling the story as I go.”
